Closed Captioning
Public settings are beginning to provide closed captioning to help the hard of hearing members of the audience better understand what is being said on stage or on screen. Helpful indeed, but it still leaves some disconnect for a hard of hearing person in that music and various sound effects are still not being fully heard. Captioning is also rather monotone in nature and misses the beauty and nuances of speech expression and inflection. Adding an audio loop system to these environments complements closed captioning and extends the hearing aid listening experience to its fullest potential.
